10/06/2008 - Please cast your vote for the TAG Masters Sportsman of The Year VIA PRIVATE EMAIL to sjm@mitzracing.com This person should exemplify what the series is all about. The candidate should volunteer, be helpful to others, and act and display a "what's good for all" attitude. The award recognizes the above qualities in a racer and has nothing to do with on track performance.

08/26/2008 - Class of 2008 Picture - We would like to do a "class of 2008" picture in front of the Fastech Sign on September 7. Please gather there QUICKLY after the drivers meeting.

08/13/2008 - With great pride of what has been accomplished over the last four years, I will be retiring from my post as Badger TAG Masters Series Administrator as of 4/1/09. I will finish 2008, continue with the year end organization, scheduling for 2009, and sponsorship procurement. Instead of springing this on the group, I'm giving plenty of lead time and consultation time in order for a smooth transition in maintaining this most excellent series. I hope to witness the series flourish for many years to come. - Sandy Mitz

08/06/2008 - Shawano Race Schedule TAG Masters Practice- 9:15-9:30 First "knock out qualifying" approx 10:00 Second "knock out qualifying"-7 laps "Run for the pole"-7 laps Pre final-8 laps Final race 10- laps The number of advances on the knock out qualifying will be determined once registration is complete. Example only-if there are 21 entries then 14 adance to Q2 and 7 advance to Qpole. All entrants will run the pre-final and final regardless of qualifying.

08/04/2008 - The on board start rule is hereby suspended. You may outboard start and maintain your grid position. You are required to have ALL OEM starting equipment mounted and intact in original positions. This means battery, starter, ring gear, wiring, etc. Any abuse of this to gain competitive advantage will result in automatic DQ until OEM equipment is restored.

08/03/2008 - The following is a list of Members meeting the work day requirement. If you have filled your obligation on a different day, please email me (smitz@mrsc.com). Levasseur, Anthensen, Myers, Hanisch, Thomas, Weiss, Gilling, Ziegler, Ropke, Armstrong. Vintage Kart Race and Track Cleanup can qualify. There are also some weekends that are not TAG Masters Races. Please do not be confused, this is a requirement to participate in the series.

06/22/2008 - Shirts are Here!! Please join us for shirts, refreshments, and snacks at the Mitz trailer after the races on Saturday. We will distribute the shirts and also try and take a “class of 2008” picture in front of the Fastech Sign

06/09/2008 - The race scheduled for Sunday, June 08 was canceled due to heavy thunderstorms.

05/21/2008 - In the feature Armstrong made it two feature wins in a row, with a comfortable three second victory over Ropke. Ropke appeared relegated to third as he battled Jeff Wesell for most of the race, but on the last lap, at the first right hander Ropke snuck under Wesell. The two battled through the next corner and Ropke then went ahead of Wesell for good as they rounded out the top three.

05/10/2008 - As per TAG Masters rules, you must also be a member of Badger Kart Club to participate. In addition to the fees, you are required to volunteer and work the appropriate bye week.

05/09/2008 - First race of the year... In feature action Garrett Armstrong beat Terry Thomas by a second and a half, as over 20 TaG Masters raced to the checkers. Dean Anthonsen finished third, just a tick behind Thomas.

05/07/2008 - Due to our concerns regarding the number of karts, random draw, and safety, I am requiring that TAG Masters competitors run their transponders for every session on track. (Yes, this includes practice)

03/01/2008 - The TaG Masters series welcomes Shark Signs on board as a series sponsor! Entries are rolling in and the season looks to be as competitive as ever!

01/08/2008 - Signups have begun rolling in! Welcome back to Terry Thomas (2007's 5th place finisher) and Chris Ziegler.

01/06/2008 - The 2008 Schedule has been posted! Time to get signed up for another great season of TaG! Use the online signup form here to register!

10/21/2007 - Final Points have been posted. What a season! Only 300 points separate the top 8 at the end of the season. This demonstrates what an outstanding series this is. Congratulations to everyone and good luck in 2008!
